How to Get Started

Whether you are preparing for baby, navigating early feeding challenges, or looking for ongoing support, we want to make it simple to know where to begin.

  1. Check your insurance

Start by checking whether insurance-covered lactation care may be available through The Lactation Network or Wildflower Health. Eligibility depends on your plan, state, visit type, and benefits.

Have Cigna or Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield? Check Wildflower Health first. For other commercial insurance plans, start with The Lactation Network.

  2. Explore your care options

If TLN or Wildflower confirms eligibility, follow that insurance-covered pathway. If coverage is not available, or if you prefer direct booking, visit the Pricing page to explore self-pay options and superbills.

  3. Schedule the right visit

Choose the consultation type that fits your needs, from prenatal preparation to virtual or in-home support. When you are ready for self-pay booking, you can reach out to schedule.

  4. Browse essentials before your visit

Visit the Products page for recommended feeding and pumping essentials that may be helpful before your initial consult.

Check insurance options

Start by checking lactation coverage through The Lactation Network or Wildflower Health. Many families qualify for covered visits when eligible.

Not sure which visit is right for you? Start with insurance, then review the pricing page for the best next step. Private-pay clients can also request a superbill after their visit for possible out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

Hi, I’m Liz Manoah, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Registered Nurse here at The Breastfeeding Cafe.

I know that feeding your baby can feel overwhelming, especially in those early days when everything is new and you’re running on very little sleep. I want you to know: you are not alone in this, and there is no wrong question.

My approach is simple. I listen first. I meet you where you are. And together, we figure out what works for you and your baby, whether that’s latch support, pumping guidance, or just someone calm in your corner when things feel hard.

I serve families across Orlando, St. Cloud, Lake Nona, Kissimmee, and Central Florida, both in your home and through telehealth. Every family is different, and that’s exactly how I treat your care: as something that belongs to you.

If you’re expecting, newly postpartum, or a few weeks in and looking for answers, I’d love to help. Let’s talk.
